Presented with a necessary floor elevation 6 feet above the street due to an existing sea wall, the residence is a split-level design, with stairs wrapped around a five stop glass elevator. The stairs have textured led-lit glass treads to allow light to penetrate to levels below. The Entry is reached by a series of pedestrian bridge elements over a reflecting pond. The bridges are lit from below with color changing led lighting strips. The house also features a full floor basement, with Laundry, Theater, Mechanical, and Library spaces. The predominant interior wall material is select Douglass Fir, with Honduran Mahogany used for the Library. The exterior of the residence is a combination of stucco, mahogany, coastal finished aluminum doors and windows, and titanium roofing and balcony cover.
